I am looking for some information on designing and specifying curved glulam beams. The particular case that I am looking at is for roof construction of 20' span w/ a 50' radius and a high snow load.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some good design examples or curved glulam information?
I am not sure on how to connect (2) 3 1/2"x16" LVL valley beams along with a 3 1/8"x18" Glulam ridge between the valley beams to a 5 1/8"x16.5" Glulam Ridge that is perpendicular to the 3 1/8" ridge. So all three beams are coming in at the same point. I was thinking of maybe thru-bolting them...
