Hi John, as you said "to avoid mechanical movements". I also assume you don't want to tie up a PC to do such a simple task. The circuit can be implemented in a variety of ways, so I will try to point you in the right direction
and "natural frequencies" can be dealt with later.
1. You can use the...
Haven't you guy's ever heard of e-beam srerilization. They do it all the time to dispose of medical waste! They also use it to sterilize IV sets in production. Check out Baxter Healthcare, they do it all the time with e-beams and x-rays. It's trivial.
To VE1BLL: Never said I needed the time for tracking. Outages are not a problem with WWVB. Just need to know that the time is periodically updated and maintained for data logging/utility record keeping without a trip to a remote location. Sorry about the two-bit advice comment.
If you have a...
Appreciate all you guy's trying to help. But none of you answered the question! I don't need two-bit advice I already know. I just want to know if anyone knows who still makes the receiver chips.
Thanks IRstuff. First, the wireless network is just between all the arrays, not on the internet. I will be sending
clock data to all PV arrays (clients) from a main server array. The server array needs the time data.
I have googled all day, and can't find a chip level solution. Am designing a solar tracking controller system for Solar PV Arrays. I found references to obviously discontinued parts from Timec and Atmel. I am an old fart Engineer, so any help you young guy's can give me with internet search...
I live in New Mexico, home of the Sante Fe hippies. The
town is full of shops that sell crystals and magnetic bracelets. They are all full of bunk!
Even scientific people buy into this crap, putting fear into the public about electromagnetic fields. But if you
want to really study it, test the...
I firmly believe that the new Ultracapacitor technologies provide the most viable solution for the least weight. Check out Maxwell technologies. They have sucessfully started an internal combustion enging with a capacitor system weighing approx. 1.7kg.
Just had a similar design requirement last month, ableit
with a requirement of much greater distance. If you want
to do it quickly, and cost is not sensitive check out
Aerocomm.com, The make small, 900Mhz wireless modules that
require no further liscensing, and can be implemented in
less than a...
