    Through Curves command

Try turning on preserve shape. This may help a small bit.

    NX 2212: Subtraction error.......

It almost looks like you have two solid bodies. Try using delete body and see how many Solid Bodies you have. Kind of cool issue. ugh.

NX2312 Sketcher and Drafting - Approximate Dimension Symbol

Toost is correct, once you finish the sketch in the drafting, the symbol should go away. I dislike how these dimensions behave so differently in the drafting application vs the older sketcher. But they should go away once you finish the sketch and pan around.

NX 2212 - Sheets from curves..............

If the curves are already there, you could use N sided surface. Or you could also use Fill surface also. A couple other options if the curves already exist.

    Sketch dimension shown on drawing..............

You will need to turn it to a PMI dimension, then I think you can. If you right click on the dimension, turn it to PMI. Then you can process this down into your 2D drawings. There will be some switches in your 2d drawing that you need click on. Double click your 2D drawing border, then go to...

NX assembly exploded view vs NX arrangements.....

Exploded Views is for ISO assembly type drawings, This needs to be done at the drawing level. Arrangements are for showing different assembly orientations or different options to an assembly. For example, imagine an air cylinder. In one arrangement, the cylinder is retracted, and in the other...

NX assembly exploded view vs NX arrangements.....

We prefer to use arrangements a lot, especially for exploded views. We have many arrangements in our assemblies so this method works well for us. For what it is worth.

    NX For Dummies?

I do not think you will find the information in Books. There is Xcelerator training. Link Below. The help documents, also work well. There are a ton of questions that have been answered here and in the PLM forums. I would start searching and doing youtube searches. The Information is out...

    Can I omit Basic dimensions?

The 3DPDF Measurement is not very user-friendly. A couple of small measurements I took, seemed to be consistent with the 3D model. 3D PDF can only go out to 6 decimal places. The PDF and cad matched out to 6 decimal places. For what it is worth. These are simple measurements like a diameter...

    Can I omit Basic dimensions?

"For your 3D PDF, is there a way to toggle between Model Views? Usually, PMI is placed into different model views. In NX, this seems to work well. Is there a way to change or export all of your model views without altering any settings during the 3D PDF export? Just some random thoughts."

    Can I omit Basic dimensions?

"@greenimi Yes, I can take measurements with the 3DPDF using Acrobat, I do not know about the free Adobe Reader. Siemens uses a program called JT2GO, which allows for measurements and offers a much more robust user interface when using 3D PMI. I have not had much luck with the highlighting of...

    Dialog Boxes, Pausing randomly

Recently, in NX2306 and NX2406, we have experienced random pauses when exiting dialog boxes. (The pause is about 30 seconds) This issue occurs approximately 20% of the time, with the dialog box exiting immediately the other 80%. While this problem is most noticeable with the measurement command...
