tested for static stiffness? Can we simulate this in FEA? If so, what boundary conditions we have to use to get the FEA results close to real time testing.

Let me be more clear. My intention is to find the equivalent static stiffness at '0'Hz. displacements are my outputs from the analysis. (SOL111). I am finidng the static stiffness only without constraining the frame

when we look at the stresses in a component, generally we ignore the stresses at the bolt hole locations. The reason for this is the way we model, the bolt hole(with RBE2's). My question is how do we judge the stresses around the bolt holes? In some cases we may not ignore them!!!
