Hi Spares for the Mark VIe are becoming obsolete. For a 45 MW steam turbine , what other control system we can use instead of Mark VI? The system is very complex, the spare cards are very expensive and very long delivery delay. Can we replace with Woodward or another system?

It is a steam turbine.

The turbine and gear remain the same. They will be connected to a smaller alternator of size 46 MVA. Output of gear speed to the alternator is the same i.e. 1500 rpm
