, strangely I can draw the worm ( helix lisp ) but and the worm gear as a straight tooth ie not at an angle to its ( the shaft) axis
but I need to draw the worm gear teeth at an 4 deg angle to ist axis, my plan was to revolve...

Not to sure on how to proceed on theis I have a worm gear with a 4 deg helix ( actually not a spring like helix) Just the 2 end faces are offset from each other by 4 deg in the z plane
Sort of like twisting each end
Its a shaft with the gear in the middle and the teeth of the gear...

the flywheel crank pin of my single cylinder engine, has a floating plain bush ie there is a solid bronze bush between the crank pin and conrod ....not in babit type as per car, modern bike...
But a large lump of bronze like a polo mint ( would be easier to draw a picture .....)...
That was on my list but I am worried about the heat and losss of Uts , the heat in the current unit can get to around 300 deg c , as the plates show signs of blueing... due to slippage
So we had do tuck a few more plates in there to avoid slip ...

Hi there is for clutch plates in a friction disc multi plate clutch, oil cooled the chain just dipps into the oil but the plates are not submersed
