go into the se help file and do a search on "helical protrusion" its in se v16 clear back to v7 for sure maybe further...it takes a few minuntes to figure the command out but you can draw a hexagon or any other shaped spring in no time at all...and for around 800kb have fun w/ this one.

If you right click above your tool bar you can select "customize" on the toolbar tab the left hand side select "view" then on the right hand side you'll have some toolbar buttons pop up "previous view" is in there drag and drop it onto your toolbar.

fyi... it will happen again at some point and a regen might not work.. play w/ you "ltscale" setting match them to you viewport zoom factor.

I'M USING 2004 AND XP AS WELL.. I DON'T HAVE A POSTSCRIPT PLOTTER. SO THAT IS A POSSIBLITY...BUT MY ONLY LIMIT ON PLOT LENGTH IS HOW LONG MY ROLL OF PAPER IS....

if the bmp file for fillet ect.. in 2002 has the same name as it does in 2004 you can just copy the 2002 bmp to the new location. and replace the 2004 version it will load it next time you start up.

ok in your custom "481632.mnu" under the accelerators section (all the way down in notepad) dump these at the end save and reload...make a copy of your custom toolbars first and put them into a different directory reload your menu "and yes replace all" close acad. move your saved toolbars back...

what version of acad are you running 481632? and how do you want to use your osnap? i use my function keys as mine..

one question does it happen all the time or just on occasion?

do you use the communication center it will look and let you know anytime something is available it might be the os on his pc....check there too i was refering to updates and service packs when i said patches sorry for the confusion check his system....who knows..

some easy to overlook items...does his machine have all the current patches? i had a similiar problem when i first installed 2004.. if i opened a drawing from the recently-used files list i would get the open as read only bit....at some point in time it stopped i'm not sure when i'd only use...
