I have been asked to do some research on servo repairs, especially on remagnetizing a servo if needed. Can you guys give me any insight as to how it is done. What kind of equipment is required. What type of power are we looking at do this, etc...

call your local pneumatics supply shop. they'll order you the right valves for your application. looks like you just need a on delay valve and whatever control valve you need to "fire" the delay
I'm having a problem with getting a pcmk/a card to work with a plc2/16.
I followed the technote about modifying the config.sys file with no luck so far. I have tried the list of memory ranges listed by AB

we have seen a demo, but as with any demo it is in the

We have been looking at the performance controllers from the Power Efficiency Corp. The controller is a soft start with an scr motor controller of sorts. My background is controls not motors so I'm not sure how to word my question.

reading through the manual for the DL05, it looks like i would set up com2 in slave mode, but how would i address a read command? any info is appreciated.
Is there a low cost controller that has an rs232 port with just a few i/o.
I have an application with a sick barcode reader. it has an
available rs232 port to send data to a pc. I would like to hook it to a cheap plc, send the data to the plc, decode the label data (up to four different labels)...
We ended up using a slc500 with the proset. We made a lot of changes to the code. Basically rewrote all of the user screens for a 10" panelview with more operator information available on each screen.
We also made it easier for the operators to make setup changes since more info was on each...
