Does anybody know the NDT (Nil-Ductility Transition) value for 1018 cold rolled steel. I have an application at -65F with impact loads and I am concerned about brittle fracture.
I have looked at E-coat. The only problem is that on this part is a machined hole for a press fit bearing. That means that the part would have to be masked, which is also cost prohibitive.<br>

Does anyone know how yellow brass will hold up to phosphoric acid? I don't have that extensive of books which has that kind of information. Any help would be appreciated.
