i think i was confused by the wording of the original question. if he's asking how to move the drawings associated with the files, that i don't know. sounds to me like an excellent enhancement request.

I got the HP nw8240, and absolutely love it. It was obviously designed to go head to head with the IBM Thinkpad. It (the nw8240) has a magnesium alloy casing, very comfortable touchpad and track point with rubber tops, and a great keyboard. Spec wise, its pretty solid, with a 1.8P-M...
I found another alternative over the weekend and would like some feedback if anyone has any experience. Its the HP nw8240.

It looks like a better solution for me because it has a newer and certified card (the...
Thanks again for all the input, I'll be sure to take a look at the Alienware option, although with a P4 I can be sure it will run hot and loud (a personal peeve of mine). Again, this laptop isn't purely for business, and what I'm finding is I almost need 2 different machines to handle all the...
the dell looks hot... but compareably configured its a whopping $3500! way way out of my price range.
my coworker had the t41 an that was a slick little machine, and as far as acer goes, i have an aspire and absolutely love it. it runs solidworks, but too glitchy (dimensions...
I'm looking to purchase a laptop that will run SolidWorks well, but also do a good job with games and audio editing. I've narrowed it down to two laptops, and would appreciate any input you might have.
Laptop A - Acer TravelMate 8104 $2200
2.0M
1GB RAM
128 MB ATI x700 PCI-E
unsure of HD speed...
Thanks. I tired opening it with a program called Resource Hacker, which while it was able to display all the tips, it doesn't look like there's a clean and easy way to print the list.
I have dual 19's (HP Pavilion F1903) and haven't had this problem (just tested).
However, I have had quite a few other glitches, one of which was only recently fixed in a service pack. The error was, when trying to fill out custom properties in the secondary monitor, the fields (from...
I've noticed a few glitches in SP1.1 and thought that starting a list here for everyone might help centralize any known corrections. Here are my current issues:
1. Crashing - This is your total meltdown variety, "Unhandled Error", which happens at least twice a day for me (this is actually a...
SP1.1 doesn't crash nearly as much for me as SP0.1 did. I'd say I'm down to about 2-3 times a day like you, as opposed to 5-6 (which was ridiculous).
All I can recommend is CTRL-S (quick save shortcut), and do it often.
That's just it, I can't remeber what the macro was called. I'm currently trying to track it down, but it seems a bit ridiculous to me there isn't a reset key command, let alone something that shows what its pointing to. If I had the latter of the two, I'd have no problem renaming it then...
After really banging our heads on this one my support rep finally figured it out (by chance, but I'll take it). Its some strange glitch in SP0.1 that happens when running dual monitors. Funny thing is, it works fine on the other screen, I was just in the habit of having it on the right screen...
