    Low Resistivity

    Hi Ismail, Resistivity logs are good for the differentiation of fluid types in the formation being analyzed. Due to the presence of salts, water in the formation will usually have high conductivity (translating to low resistivity) while hydrocarbons will have high resistyivity.
