Ran across this fault before. While VFD output was on, a downstream manual disconnect would intermittently(people) open and/or close.
Any components that could manually or automatically isolate input or output of VFD might need further investigation.
Does anyone have suggestions for ACS355 VFD that intermittently faults on overvoltage?
At the time of the last fault voltage was 831 volts. This fault is happening once every couple of days.
What is the lowest temperature you could measure if using a ammonia refrigeration system?
If you have any references they would be much appreciated.
Thanks
I would like to see the inlet to an evaporator coil. The coil is in a dark, sometimes wet and generally inaccessible location most of the time. The intent is for operators to know if ice is building up on coil.
Does anyone have any product recommendations?
You would need a computer/server running to utilize this-

If you had 2 companies offering you different positions at about the same compensation.
Company A was in a strong financial position and a market leader and you would have more of a field role.
Company B is in a weaker position financially. But they are asking you to come and be a...
Diagram shows power earth and shield joined at motor and vfd.
Disconnect is not shown.
We are using a nonmetallic disconnect with terminal blocks.
2 possible choices are keep earth and shield isolated at disconnect or jumper together at terminal block in disconnect.
What should you do with the VSD cable shield wire at a motor disconnect?
My intent was to join earth ground and shield at motor and VSD. But I am not sure what to do with shield at disconnect.
Thanks
I have 8 VFD's that are going to be controlled via Hand Off Auto switches.
Is it "better" to use a external 24dc power supply for start circuit?
Or should I use each VFD's supply?
The VFD's will be mounted adjacent to each other and have a common stop button(via relay).

The only parameter I changed was A082.
VFD runs with 1.7amps per phase . VFD has been running for over 72 hours with no fault. Everything is right with the world.
Based on the manual I don't know how you figured this out.
Thanks
Thanks for the replies.
I will compare setttings in VFD to suggestions and implement soon.
Has anyone ever had to setA097(Compensation) to something other then Electrical (current setting)?
My options are.
0 “Disabled”
1 “Electrical”
2 “Mechanical”
3 “Both"
Jraef I think you are right on with the motor starving for torque.
Incoming voltage is 497 all 3 phases.
I have tried different accel times and they all will start conveyor unloaded, but as soon as product on belt within minutes F6 fault.
In the next few days I should be able to look into VFD...
