A German company, Voith, do pretty much what you are asking about. They make driveline retarders for trucks. The retarder torque is controlled by the flow of fluid into and out of the turbine via proportional valving. Cooling is by a heat exchanger coupled to the truck cooling system.
Does anyone have any experience of importing I-DEAS files into UG NX2 and then back to I-DEAS without using translators?
I've heard this can be done but I cannot trial it just now.
There was a comment that I-DEAS could be opened in UG NX2. Is this a direct conversion without loss of part history? Can the NX2 file be returned to I-DEAS, again without loss of history?
