There are all kinds of graphical methods to construct 4 bar linkages. Is there a graphical means to construct a 6 bar linkage? Is it more or less trial and error / experience? How do you know where to place the joints to achieve the movement desired?

When I add an existing part to an assembly, all my layers and blanked objects show up. But when I display the part, only the solid geometry is visible. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do I change the units in the part, I need to convert the part from mm to inches.

Thanks PhilJenkins for the response. I guess I was constraining the conic to solid lines instead of construction lines. It makes no sense why UG can't differentiate the 2 line types, but it worked.
