I have a tricky stuff never solved for years.
for example, you have a cylinder cup, and a basketball.
you have the axis for both cylinder cup and the ball.
now you need to mate their axis first, then secondly, put the cup edge (circle) just 'stick' on the ball surface, then the assembly will...

For the first question, there is already quick keys, that is 'CTRL+S' for save, then I can press the middle mouse key. (same function as 'pressing the 'ok' button in the window.)
However, I do not want the window to pop out...
1. It always pops up a confirm windows after I click save a file. Then I need to click the 'ok' button in the window to complete this action. Is it possible to wave this extra step?
2. Is there any calculator for standard parts such as bearing, fasterners or tubes? Or do we have to download...

1. for the first question, the 'display with solid leader' works. I was then trying to setup this in the drawing template, but could not find in the options...Does that mean I have to to this manually everytime when I put a radius or diameter dimension? That...

when I open an .iges file (saved-as iges by pro/e) with solidworks.

I did seleck "always ask me this", then it always pops this message and creat solidworks part file for every single component...
Searched and get now result before writing following words.
I have black/white printer. When I print the drawing in AUTOCAD2005, the system is print the yellow color very light.
Is there a way to print all color to be black, and only difference is the line width?
I did this in AutoCAD97 LT...

I tried the config.pro, no create_axis_for_extruded_arcs option. My version is WF 2002.
I managed to add the axis point when editing the sketch as Justkiipgiver says.

I just refresh and it displays. The way you are talking is more complex than sketching. Anyway, I was just curious why pro/e (wildfire) does not show axis while solidworks does in the same condition.
I extruded a body from a sketch with round curve. Now I want to make a hole in the body and concentralize with the round curve. But not being able to pick up the round edge/surface as reference. Anyone did this before?
OR I have to do this from sketch and using cut-extruding?

one extra word. when you setup the text height in .dtl file, you need to save the .dtl file. Otherwise it will go back again to ther original one. I don't know why the .dtl file could not save itself like the config.pro file do.
