    Levee Risk

    Does anyone have a good example of a Levee Interim Risk Reduction Measures (IRRM) Plan? I can't seem to find one. The USACE requires them on levee projects while long-term improvements are being made. I have the guidelines for preparing them, I am just looking for a good example. Thank you.

    Thinking of moving from Civil Engineer to CWI

    He might be making that on a specific job, after which he goes back to a lower salary. Many people exagerate their salaries to feel good. I would not make a career change based on what one person says. Try talking to several CWIs. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

    I am a PE in civil engineering but am looking for additional certifications to help advance my career. I work mostly in water resources and geotechnical engineering, but also do other types of work. I am thinking of the Certified Floodplain Manager certification. Any other suggestions?
