Thanks Brian for your comments. This is just for research/academic purpose. If I apply displacement then the procedure for obtaining the stress strain curve of 3D composite would be still the same (Stress = reaction force/area)(strain = displacement/original length) or do I use something else??

Hello, I am performing an analysis of composite laminate and have to apply a load such that it should be uniform on all the nodes on that surface. The displacement of the body should be uniform. Do I have to make the surface where load acts as rigid? If yes how do I start? Thanks for the help.
