We have pedestrian pushbuttons with indicator lamps which are wired in parallel with the don't walk signal light. Is this standard? I would think that the lamp would be operated from the phase check signal so that it would indicate that the button push had been received.

I was wondering what others were doing with regard to conflict monitor testing. Is this normally done on the bench with a special test instrument or is it acceptable to test in the field by jumpering conflicting greens together? What is the normal test frequency?
