I grew up on SolidWorks so I may be missing something as increadibly obvious as opening the feature tree. However when I have the assembly open I don't know how to get a feature tree. All I can get is the layers or a list of parts that make up the assembly.
I have a question about using the Extrude tool in assemblies for Pro/E WF 3. I have been sent an assembly and the Extrude tool has been used to cut half of the assembly away to create a cross section view. Don't ask me why this method was used instead of using the x-sec tool, I'm at a loss as...
Hey all,
I have recently started having this problem with assemblies Pro/E (WF 3). I created an assembly and insert a sub assembly into it. This sub assembly is used in a number of things here and so it is in its own folder. Everything is working fine when I close Pro/E. When I try to...
I have created a family table, but when I dimension it I just get the default dimension.
One part that I have is a rod. This rod can be 1 ft, 2 ft, 3 ft,...., 12ft. I have a family table with all of these dimensions but in my drawing all I can get it to show me is the 1 ft dimension.
Pro/E...
I am creating a drawing for a series of parts. These parts are all essentially the same, except for a couple of dimensions that change. I don't want to create a drawing for each part I would rather have a generic drawing where the dimensions can be labeled with a letter. Then I can create a...
I am trying to extrude a cut and have it stop 0.05" before a complex surface. In other CAD programs I've used there was an option in the extrude feature to do this along with the "Through All" and "Up to Next" options that Pro/E does have. Is there another way to accomplish this in Pro/E?
I...
Mike - yes you can still select all of the dims and right click in WF3.
However I didn't really want to do it this way because my drawing is for an assembly and is 10 pages long. I was looking for an option I could change that would force all of the dimensions to 3 places.

Pro/E WF 3.0
I have recently started an engineering job at a small company and I am the only one who knows any CAD. We have a Pro/E license but I come from a SolidWorks background and I'm having some difficulty configuring Pro/E.
I want to be able to change the default working directory and I haven't been...
