Does anyone know a method of providing calculations for an Oil Water Seperator for a Truck Dock?
We have a trench drain which collects to a common point and then will travel through the Oil Water Seperator before it hits the outlet.

hey it makes plunty of sense, I did get it to load up, and did find some bugs... I am able to select an object, then the leader comes out, and i can tell the leader where to end, but it fails with the placement of the layer name...

Yes you are right... it is used for survey to sight work for plans... you choose a place to for your spot elevation... Then you place where you want your elevation # XXX.XX to apear. Then after that, it adds a # .50 to that XXX.XX, and places it in a rectangle with the line in the middle of it...
I want to select a line which is on layer "EX_Concrete". Then it prompts for a leader line and you select where you want it, then it puts text next to the leader line saying "EX_Concrete" or Existing Concrete".
And can we make a generic leader line that automatically prompts for text after the...
Is there a way to plot a drawing to the plotter and to a PLT in one step rather than double stepping.
I didnt know if there was a VB script or LISP I could use to do this.

Is there a lisp or away to connect labels to linework.
So if i have linework on a concrete layer, it will randomly place a label to that linework saying Concrete.
Hopefully that makes sense.
or
If there is a way to select a linework and you manually place the lable where ever.

Just curious, Is it hard to have land desk automate drawings for the user? Or Dynamically have drawings which are current through the whole set?
EX. besides using xrefs, having information from a sheet drawing title by dynamically linked to its cover sheet. when cover sheet title changes, so...
I need to know how hard it is to create a lisp which will do the following:
1 - Pick a place on the drawing which places a leader or spot X.
2 - Then Prompts for an Elevation XXX.XX with a rectangle around it.
3 - Then takes the XXX.XX value and adds .50 to it and places it above the value...
Want to know how to measure a distance from a photograph.
Ex. I have a picture of a building with 3 corners on it... two up close one far away. I know the distance of the first two which are up close. How can i ge the distance of the 3rd point of the corner.
Are there fomulas to solve this or...
but even with a TIFF the file size is HUGE and also the quality will not be the same.
If there is a way to OVERLAY the PDF in a dwg.. that would be cool.
