Regular Instant Voltage drop in a large warehouse facility!

Sorry I meant FLUKE 1750 not 175. I am far away from salt water.

Regular Instant Voltage drop in a large warehouse facility!

I am using Fluke 175 and yes it measures and records all wave forms, it is a powerful instrument, I was able to view the event on the graphs. I ll check with the utility again and do some more research. Thank you

Regular Instant Voltage drop in a large warehouse facility!

It happens less frequently than I mentioned, I would say on average once every two months. If it was a bad connection I would expect it to happen once a day or couple of days, also the dip was short exactly 3 seconds on phase'A' then it went back to normal?

Regular Instant Voltage drop in a large warehouse facility!

It keeps happening every month or two once or twice even at sunny morning day, so weather is not the problem!

Regular Instant Voltage drop in a large warehouse facility!

I am working on a power failure issue at a big warehouse distribution facility in NY. I posted on the site a while ago regarding finding a solution for the power brownouts they have been having that caused the forklift chargers to fail. I recommended using the FLUKE 175 to record power...

Forklift Battery Chargers failures due to brownouts?

Thank you all for the replies. I am installing a voltage monitoring device to report values over a month period, then I am thinking to consider hiring an electronics engineer to modify the circuitry inside the charger itself.

Forklift Battery Chargers failures due to brownouts?

I am running into a problem with a big warehouse facility where they have about 70 big battery chargers for forklifts. They are being fed from 2-3P-600A circuit breakers, some of those chargers get damaged where they have to replace the electronic board inside due to often electric brownouts and...

    Voltage Regulators VS Surge Protectors?

I am considering now the use of a UPS which shall take care of all power problems as I hope, thanks all for the feedback.

    Voltage Regulators VS Surge Protectors?

I am investigating some electrical problems at a warehouse distribution facility in NY. They have had power goes off and back on in the past and this caused some expensive battery chargers to go bad. They installed surge protection devices and still didn't fix the problem completely, the...

    Apartment Riser Run?

I am running a new riser to a 14 building apartments in NYC, the existing service is not sufficient for new loads in the apartments. I was planning to run the riser in the same shaft with mechanical pipes, the shaft starts in the basement by the elevator machine room and this room is a complete...
