It disappears in the part file. the parts where i get this problem is piping/routing part, with some 120 configurations. We need to add additional configurations to this part. This has happened two times, both with parts that have rather a lot o f configs.

I have done successful imports with proper file and feature names in the step format, but this was from inventor generated files. Maybe its possible to do it if you can do it by first exporting to inventor (if you have access to a inventor machine) .
