Hello , How can i convert a solidworks(2003) assembly to a solid edge format. Is it possible to read solidworks files with solid edge, or do i convert the assembly to a step format ? thanks a lot.

thanks all for the reply the thick, the centroid that i need , is the centroid from a sketch. the sketch (symetric)is driven and have no features. with the section properties i can see the centroid. what i did, is calculate the Y-position and link a formula with the equitation to the dimension...

i found a way to do this. I draw a point and make a equitation of the distance of this point to the origin. is there another way ?

No , I avoid assembly cuts. The cuts are on part level. Sub assemblys have also configurations with desgn tables. I just wonder if those features in the driven parts have external references from the master sketch could give problems with performance en rebuilding the parts. English is not your...
