I would model your 24" CGMP as the primary outlet (elev. 1295.25) of the structure, then the other openings you define their 'Routing' through the outlet (rather than defining them as 'Primary' outlets they are defined as Orifices & their routing runs through Device 1 (or whatever row of the...
I am designing a detention pond that allows for infiltration. As an overflow outlet, I'm using leaching catch basins w/ inlets set above the bottom of the pond (2 basins per pond). The catch basins are surrounded by stone and linked together w/ a perforated pipe surrounded by stone. I've...
When modeling a subdivision of known lot size (say 1-acre lots/ 20% impervious/ Type C soils) does this CN value of 79 include the paved road frontage associated w/ each lot, or should the roadway be modeled as a separate CN line item in the subcatchment node?
Never mind. I messed around w/ different discharge configurations until I got it to work, but if anyone has experienced all of their outflow bypassing an orifice, even though the max. elevation is well above the inlet, I'd be interested in knowing why.
Thanks.
I am modeling a detention pond w/ a catch basin inlet set one foot above the floor of the pond, leading to a culvert whose invert is below the pond floor. When I add an emergency spillway as a secondary outlet, I get 0 cfs flowing through the inlet & culvert. If I remove the secondary spillway...
