We are having a problem with dimensioning. Dimensions are placed and drawings saved, but after a close and reopen, the dimensions adjust and all start points are changed to 0,0 ucs of the drawing. We are currently using AutoCAD MEP 2008.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no objects in the drawing with these layers, yet the layer manager shows them as used, and so won't let me delete them. How can I get rid of these unwanted/unused layers?? Auditing and purging do not work.
Also, I x-ref'd another company's drawing into mine and their original layers...
