I always for some reason associated testing when it came to PRVs. I would say I never ran into the situation where we physically had to "prove" the calc by testing the standpipe system. Thanks for the time you spent replying to my question.
Travis - What do you mean by "two hose valves at the top of the remote standpipe to facilitate testing"? Are we supposed to prove the 100 psi residual post install?
Thanks to all who replied. Yes its a prefab booth and I did install heads in exhaust manifolds and stacks. Yes the paper bag is my last resort because the client is very picky. He wants the cleanroom look finishing plates. But as I feared the traditional pendant will have to suffice.
What type of sprinkler (preferably concealed SR 11.2k) is usually used in a paint booth. Client wants pipe to be concealed, uprights are out of the question. So my dilemma is EH GR2 for paint booth requires 11.2k minimum orifice and I cannot have QR spkrs. Any suggestions?

Has anyone ever dealt with running 10in. aerial pipe in a warehouse? What are the required hanging methods to support this pipe? Clevis hangers seem like the option, but do we need to trapeze? What about seismic?
