Thank you all for your inputs.
After running some tests, based on your comments, it seems the best way to deal with this problem (at least for my organization) will be:
- keep the configs to the lowest number possible;
- use reference geometry for mates and avoid mates like tangent and widt;
-...
Hi all
I have an assembly, with 16 configurations.
When I change mates in one configuration, there are mates that are being suppressed in other configurations, without apparent reason or warnings.
So, when I return to a configuration already finished, a lot of components are at the wrong...
Hi
Thanks for the input. The Alu frame is anodized, but the environment is wet.
I am not expecting corrosion to be a big issue, but I was expecting that grounding would improve corrosion resistance...
Hi all
1 - I have an aluminum frame;
2 - This aluminum frame is supported by a galvanized steel structure;
3 - Both the aluminum frame and steel structure are grounded, by means of separate conductors, connected to the same ground collector.
Will this prevent galvanic corrosion? (the metals...
Hi
Thanks for all inputs.
I will analize the datasheets of each recommended product to make a decision.
I also found the product Sika Firesil, that I think it is equivalent to 3M Fire Barrier.

Hi all
I detected that in some buildings we have power cables coming in through concrete walls, without any sealing.
Now I want to seal them. I am thinking in some kind of resin that we could pour through the opening, sealing after seting.
This resin should have the following properties:

Hi Foofire
AFAIK there is no way to directly control joints and connections.
You can have some control over them by changing joint clearence value (the same for all joints, so not much of a control). It will be a trial and error work until you have the model that pleases you.
You can also...
Hi all
Is there a way to refine the mesh of beam elements?
It seems that SW takes all control over it, but how can I check the results in high stressed areas, if I can't control the mesh?
Thanks for yur help.

No, they don't. Saving avi it's very wysiwyg. If there's something missing at some point in your animation, the same will happen in your avi (avi it's just a collection of snapshots taken from the animation; it will not add missing detail or correct errors).

Hi
My banana is still very reliable but not so flawless. Surprisingly, it's less reliable if I turn off RV (mabe not such a suprise if we think that RV needs a more complex processing, so subjected to more reliability).
As I mentioned, flawless decreses if I save the project, close the file...
Now it's cooler and rainy. Floods are everywhere.
I tried to do the drag trick but, having a 3min30s animation, I gave up.
But one thing I've found: working on the animation degrades the quality until a certain extent. The best results are achieved closing the file, reopen and immediatly save...
Today it was a bit hot (around 82) but rainy. The slowly drag seems to have no effect on my vanishing parts. But I have more detail !!!! Maybe I'm not doing it right. When you refer to save the animation, you mean as an avi file, right? The wather here is becoming more and more like in the...
Hi
I am not back again in this thread that never existed discussing everything but Animator (it is standing in front of me so, Theophilus, lets pretend we are talking about something else).
I am geting better results regarding sudden component disepearence. I've found that the cameras suffer...
