I'm not looking to migrate to NX. I'll use I-DEAS to the day when SIEMENS will stop supporting it. :)

Are there any changes from I-DEAS 12? i mean the user interface changes? if so.. it would be nice if someone would post a screenshot of 6 NX :P

Another question how to export TDM on HP-UX and then import it on Windows? :) I don't know what is the best way to export all the work done on HP-UX to Windows. This is single user workstation, i don't have any teamcenter and no other user is using i-deas.

Okay i will explain the first question again. I've exported .mf1 file from HP-UX via I-DEAS Archive translator so i got .arc file then i imported this file in I-DEAS on Windows machine. I've made some draftings on HP-UX for parts which are in this .mf1 file. But the draftings where not imported...

I run I-DEAS 12 NX on HP-UX 11i As fas as i know I-DEAS is ported to: Windows: NT,2000,XP,Vista UNIX: HP-UX, IRIX, Solaris, AIX Yes I-Deas 7 for HP-UX exists but i though you can't buy it from UGS anymore.

i-deas print utility sucks. (it doesn't make a good quality image) :) Now i managed to get a screencapture utility from HP-UX version 10.20. It works fine on 11.11 and i can make a good quality screenshots :D

In plotter settings you must add new printer "Generic PostScript" printer. I don't know where that is in Windows. But i know for UNIX.

You invoke ps2pdf14 from command line. So you must open cmd.exe in Windows and go to directory where ps2pdf14.exe is installed.
