    Another mathcad alternative

I think until someone puts out a product that supports units, MathCad will be safe in maintaining it's market share on this type of software tool. Should one of these groups ever figure out that units is a key component....MathCad will see some real competition.

    Inductive Power Coupling

Thanks to all, so much for IEEE's new website. I did several searches on Explorer and Don's paper did not come up. I just reran the searches with Don's title and his paper came up as well as some Grant Covic papers. That is enough to get me going in a direction. We had figured that the...

    CoDeSys programming

Does anyone have any experience with CoDeSys programming methodology. It appears to be in use mostly in Europe but we don't have a good feel for how well it does as a programming language or how easy it is to maintain, etc. Thanks Larry

    Inductive Power Coupling

Does anyone know of any papers, etc on inductive power coupling. We are looking at the feasibility of transmitting power in the 10's or 100's of KW without a direct connection. I have seen papers, etc on doing this at much lower power levels and recall that it is not that efficient...

    Radome for 2.4G & 5.8G Radio Antennas

Thanks for the info. Yes, this is an ISM type application. We are pushing the envelope on range. Trying to squeeze out as much performance as we can. Pushing the antenna height as high as we can get, using directional antennas, keeping coax lengths as short as possible, etc. Regards Larry

    Radome for 2.4G & 5.8G Radio Antennas

We are trying to find out a good material to use that is RF transparent (relatively). We are trying to house the antennas out of the elements so we don't have to worry about salt spray, icing, etc that a marine environment presents. Any thoughts or ideas on where to look would help. So far...

Medium Voltage Underground Cable / Smallest Available Size

Several cable Vendors have cables in their marine product lines that seem to meet your requirements and have smaller gauge wires
