    Hi I need to butt-weld galvanized steel wire...does anybody knows how can I restore the zinc coat in the welded joint to its original specifications? the wire is ASTM B 498 galvanized steel wire.

    Just one more question, debco, the manual mode programs are on the plc or the cnc? The plc's backup battery was discharged, I assumed that this was not relevant... Where can I get detailed info about the Num (diagrams, software, utilities,etc). THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!

    One more thing: If I disconnect the power to the z axis motor, the display registers an increasing error in the z axis. I tested the servo driver-motor-tachogenerator set by disconnecting the speed reference from the cnc and applying a variable DC voltage to the speed reference of the servo...

    Thanks for your reply, debco. Initially there is no error message in the display, the first thing I do is to select the manual mode to check if there is movement in the 3 axis, the axis x and y move normally, but the motor of axis z start to oscillate as soon as I supply power to the motors...

    Thanks a lot debco99, I have a problem with a 720F, the speed reference of channel z is always set to +10Volts,and due to this, I can't initialize the machine, I checked the D/A converter and the opamp that drives this output, these are OK...in you opinion, which could be the problem??

    Hi, I hope somebody can help me, I have one glass-cutting table controlled by a NUM 720 F numeric controller, the controller sends this message: PARAMETER TABLE CHECKSUM ERROR How can I correct this? is there any technical informations about this controller?

    You are right, electricuwe, they are asynchronous motors. How big the harmonic problem in the MV side can be, since all the electronic converters are powered downstream by 460v? The capacitors are not individually fused, they are conected in parallel with the motor. dpc- can you explain to me...
