I think you can keep the fatigue away from ASME design report. so that you can prove the vessel is ok for fatigue and you also need not to follow the app. 47. but you should to talk with the user at first.

i have a question about design subcontract.

There is a limits of size/thickness for
16MnR in the ASME SEC.II PART D page 22 line 14.
This is a new material in the 2008 addenda for the sec. II PART D
can the SA/GB6654 16MnR 6mm thickness plate be used in ASME viii div.1
the SA/GB 6654 16MnR thickness is more than 0.25in(>0.25in) in the ASME SEC.II PART D.
i see. i think you should find the MAWP_or(owner require) first.
if the MAWP_or is input by designer as owner require, you shoul design the MAWP_or equal the design pressure. And then you should calculate the MAWP(the realy MAWP) base on your design.
1.25*MAWP>1.43*MAWP_or
the MAWP_or should...
quote
"So i'm sure that i can do the test, for example, using 14.3 bar; "
i think you may use the 14.3 bar as hydrotest pressure, and shouldn't less than the 13 bar (base on 10 x 1.3).
so your nameplate can sign a MAWP 11(@14.3) or 10(@13).
it is suit for the worst condition.
I have seen the SA 106 PIPE be galvanized.
this pipe is used for co2 gas, for the lower cost we select cs instead of the SS
and this pipe is 2m long.
we galvanize it after NDE.
the galvanization is bad for the screw.so if it has some screw you shouldn't galvanize it.
thanks vpl. your answer is very helpful.
and thanks Postmetengr too. you are very warm-hearted.
do you know the code case 2506?

I try to search for the answer in the internet.
i find two, one is useing the some levels full vacuum to keep the cold temperature.
other one is...
a tower design temperature -126 F
the tower content liquefaction natural gas.
and the tower high is 42 m.
ID is 2200/1000 mm.
i want to know how can i keep the temprature.
can you give me information for example
thank you.
