    I seem to recall that some years ago, Hughson Chemicals, or Lord Manufacturing had a Chemlok system capable of bonding EPDM. Suggest that you try them.

    Epoxy sounds fine, but personally, I would select a urethane adhesive system.

    Also recommend that you get in touch with The Institute of Materials in London at 1782 221722 (Membership Department). Courses are available at the Universities of Sheffield, Nottingham, and Surrey, as well as at the London Metropolitan Polmer Centre (formerly the University of North London)...

    Heating acrylic sheet.

    In many cases, a hot oil bath is used to soften acrylic sheet, which has the added, incidental advantage of providing a lubricated layer between the acrylic and the mold surface, giving an improved optical clarity to the part being molded.
