Hi mark528, Try to make the pattern of the hole on the unfolded SM part and give the pattern direction with a standard plane you have (xy, yz or zx, depending on wich is good for you) and not the edge of your part. regards, jozsef

Hi Camille, My question is: did you make Boolean Operations between the different bodies? Maybe your formula is good but at the end you should have everything assembled in one body. Regards, jozsef

I made a sheet metal part in V5R3 by using Extrusion, Wall on Edge, etc. After that I made the Automatic bend and I am able to nicely Unfold the part. To round the corners I have to start the Part design Workbench and use the Fillet command. It is OK but in unfolded view they'll be never...

I use SolidWorks on a PC with 400MHz Celeron and mainboard with graphic integrated. It works good, the speed is acceptable. Also the graphic needs a better card. I haven't experience with RDRAM, in my opinion, the more is better, (I have 256). So one of new generation PC startind with PentiumIII...
