We received a dwg from another firm that is giving us trouble. Every time you switch from a layout tab to the model tab, the dwg automatically zooms extents. This also happens when you're in pspace and jump into a viewport. The only way to control it is to lock the vport, which we do not want...
Tried it, no help. I also went through every single setvar setting and compared it to another drawing and they are all exactly the same.
You can jump into the vport from pspace, draw a pline and it displays wireframe...go directly into model space and the same pline displays solid.
Now here's...
My plines are displaying in paperspace and plotting as wireframes but display correctly in model space. How can I make them display with normal solid fill?
When I copy and paste, it retains the AutoCAD data and when you try to edit it in Word or Excel, it opens AutoCAD to edit the text.
ETEXT.lsp doesn't work either.
I have about 10,000 lf of road centerline that will be offset 25' each side. I need to be able to offset the centerlines and automatically put them on the "right-of-way" layer when they are offset.
