    When to consider pin bending in double shear applications

    I have a 5/16" pin connecting two shafts together via a loose press fit. The outer shaft has an outer diameter of 3" and an inner diameter of 0.875". The inner shaft is solid with a diameter of 0.8734". The applied load is approximately 20 ft-lb of torque. My question is how to approach this...
