Hi again,
I made a sample of the streamline toolpath, but I would like this tool path tilt from a vertical walls. How to do that? I was trying by myself, but I'm not exactly understand how this works...
Hello Mark,
This is an aluminum part and I'm planing to perform cavity mill as a start with 20mm carbide mill, semifinishing operation with 12mm ball mill and finish operation with 6mm ball mill.
And it would be an advantage to use 5 axis strategies on semi-finish and finish operation.
Would...
Hi Guys,
I'm in need and I need a help. I got the component, but since I'm quite new in 5 axis machining I would like to ask if someone can give me a tip what would be the best strategy to maching the internal shape (picture attached). I'm planning to make this part on Matsuura MX-850, full...
Hi Kukelyk,
How did you manage to limit the toolpath using the line?
I was looking through the option for the toolpath, but I did not find it and I'm wondering how did you do that.
Hi Kukelyk,
I cannot open this file as it was made in the newer NX version I have. I have NX7.5.
Is it possible for you to send it in NX7.5 format? Or make a movie and upload it here?
I would like to understand the way you do it.
Hi,
I'm looking for a solution to get the toolpath as on attached youtube link. On this movie I have notiiced that this was acheived using a USER DEFINED command. I suspect, this is something with API programming to do. But I'm not sure. But there is other way to do the same...
Hi Mike,
This new quadro family graphic card for mid-end segment (notebooks 15.4"). It's better than FX 1800M. 8-10% better performance. Couple of enhancements: 96 CUDA parallel cores, DirectX v. 11 (as Win 7), shader 5.0, OpenGL 4.1, Optimus technology.
This graphic card is reasonable choice...
Michael,
Thanks, but this is no exactly what I wanted to do. I want to create a swept surface in the form of a helical shape and then extract the cross edge, which will be used for another sweeping operation.
An L shape, where shorter arm will be rotated about the longer line. Just like on...
Michael,
Neither. More like this. Look how the worm gear is modeling in SolidWorks. I need to use the same way.

I have question to you. And your help would be highly appreciated. I'm not so advance in modeling. I have used SolidWorks some time back and this kind of sweeping was easy to made, but when I'm trying to do it in NX - I'm stuck.
What I want to do is sweeping a line around the line to acheive a...
