Hi, hope someone can help? I've just gone from Acad 2000 LT upto 2005 Electrical, and i'm trying to change the Symbol Library default. When i was installing it asked which Symbol set i would prefer to use, so i selected IEC. When i completed install, and ran it, the default set was JIC...
Set up DF1 driver in Linx, then you will need a 9-pin to 9-pin serial lead (AB will sell you one 1747-CP3, but it's only as detailed below).
2-----3
3-----2
5-----5
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your reply. I also thought i would be able to find some sort of folder or directory containing blocks etc, but am struggling to find it.
What i'm trying to do is remove unwanted blocks from an existing drawing. I would like to open this drawing and from design centre, drag only...
Could somebody advise if it is possible to delete blocks from within Design Centre. I am using Acad 2000 LT, and cannot find an obvious way of deleting some of the blocks i have previously created.
Thank you.
Rob

"It is recommended that insulated conductors be colour-coded as follows:"
- BLACK...
Nope, sorry chap, you got me beat!! Tried it all ways round (it's becoming a personal challenge now!![wink]) I am using Autocad 2000 LT, presumably it will still work?
Do you need to register with the Topcities site to download the block?

"launch the command Multiline...
Hello,
I'm confused now!! Does DORU's procedure work in 2000LT??
I can't get it to work, i followed the steps exactly (would be really useful for cable sizes etc).
Hi Tomol, hope you don't mind but i would be very interested in any form of IEC symbol list or database. I've had to draw most of mine from scratch so far.
If you wouldn't mind emailing anything you have.
Thank you in advance.
Rob.
