Hello, Today I saw a tolerance box for straightness which had a tolerance of .005/1 RFS. I guess it means the part must be straight within .005 per inch. Does anyone know where in the ASME Y14.5 it allows this? I was unable to find it.

If I have several chained dimensions, each defined with a basic dimension and a profile tolerance. Is the last dimension cumulative (sum of the basic dimensions + the worst case profiles) or can I just add all the basic dimensions in the chain and apply the profile once to the last edge? Robert
