Currently we use nail boards and CAD drawings to create wiring harnesses or cable forms. Has anybody heard of a jig that is more efficient and takes up less space on the shop floor?

We are a mid-sized manufacturer of radio broadcast equipment. In an effort to reduce suppliers, I am trying to consolidate our tooling costs. Does anyone know of existing studies rating light assembly tool suppliers in terms of such area as cost, availability, range of products etc.
