If there are no strange characters in the filenames etc, take a look at the part attributes in native for some of these parts. I've had issues previously with the import process reading the attributes which seemed to cause a conflict in TC. Is "drawing-name" an attribute in one of these files?

Try offsetting the surfaces of the hose to a value which is approx 0.1mm less than the radius of the hose. Now run an iso curve curve along each of the offset surfaces. Measure the total length of the curves. Not 100% accurate but probably good enough.
