I've been doing that and I kept getting a Run-Time error '91' "Object variable or With block variable not set" message.
I just tried it again and it works. Go figure? Thanks everybody for your help!

Thanks CBL, I just tried it out. I was hoping for an easier way to return the features and faces to one color rather than selecting each one. Of course the time I've spent on this trying to find an easy eay, I could have selected each face by now! That's how you learn...

I tried the download on Lenny's site and I'm having a hard time getting it to run in SW2006. Any ideas?

It did look real, but you never know. I wonder if the Discovery Channel will do a few episodes of them building the Solid Works bike? That would be cool!!

You have been assimilated, resistance is futile!
It took me a while too, but now when I have to go back to AutoCAD to edit a drawing or something, I find myself trying to do it the way SolidWorks does.

Yes, I probably should have started a new thread.
I thought I tried everything, except for what you suggested Shaggy. It worked. Many thanks!

I'm using SW2005 and I'm trying to copy the drawing views from one drawing file to another and have tried to window-select everything and this doesn't work.
Is there a way to combine the drawing views from two separate drawing files into one common drawing file?

I've only contacted mine a few times but 99% of the time help is immediate. When help is not immediately available a call back is usually within a few hours.
I'm not sure if this is normal, but they have the ability to take control of your computer to actually see what you are working on and...
For what it's worth, I just upgraded the RAM on my Dell Precision 450 from 1G to 2G and it was less than $500. I didn't get the RAM from Dell.

I see what I was doing wrong. I forgot to rebuild it after I moved the levers. I'll have to look into that one deeper, but for what I need to do right now I think I'll stick to plain, straight helixes. These are just assembly drawings for in-house use and really don't need to be that realistic...
I've seen that one before. Unless I'm missing something I can't figure out how to make it "work" once I open the file.

I've been using SolidWorks 2004 for about 1.5 years. My question, is there an "easy" way to model a two or three conductor twisted "pair" that doesn't follow a straight path. I can make them using the standard Helix, but can you create them to follow, say, a 3-D curve?
Thanks in advance.
