DXF previewer in Microsoft Outlook 2010

Unfortunately, none of the links / options have been of help. I am not looking for a viewer, I am looking for a previewer for Microsoft Outlook, where I can glance at the dxf quickly to make sure the part is not missing any cutouts. We send our cutting files via email, and have to open them...

DXF previewer in Microsoft Outlook 2010

I'm not having trouble viewing dxf's. I just don't want to open DraftSight or Solidworks for every dxf. We just need to quick glance at them.

DXF previewer in Microsoft Outlook 2010

Yes, ours can open dxf files. I would just like to quick look at them via outlook. Like you can with pdf's.

DXF previewer in Microsoft Outlook 2010

I tried searching for a good hour. Found longbow immediately, unfortunately you need to have AutoCAD installed to view dxf's (per longbow rep) We only use Solidworks, so that is out of the question. Thank you for the effort though. Any other ideas out there?

DXF previewer in Microsoft Outlook 2010

We use email to send our cutting orders to the CNC and waterjet. Before we send the files out, we have to review the attachments. We are working towards a new way of supplying those depts with files / programs, but this is how we have done it since forever. All we have to look for is orientation...

Created Sub Assembly, now no default datum planes?!

I have an assembly of a handful of parts. I would like to make sub assemblies of some of the parts that fit together nicely. My only problem is when I selected the parts and clicked 'move to sub..." The drawing and assembly model (of the sub assembly just created) does not have the standard...

    Aligning two axis

I am trying to figure out what I have to use to make two cams, one on each end of a roller, to be aligned with one another. The cams have an alignment hole in the same spot. I'm confused with the datums and if I even need them.

Best way to Pro/E to Solidworks

I would then have to model it twice using both programs. We would need the Pro/E file on record. SolidWorks is only on my computer. But I completely understand what you're saying.

Best way to Pro/E to Solidworks

I am able to model and assemble just fine in Pro/E. However I HATE drawing with Pro/E. Is there a way to model in Pro/E and then bring the model to SolidWorks and draw it up? This would save me so much more time if it is possible. I have brought a SW model into Pro/E so I assume something like...

    Snap Issue

When I click when the intersecting line snap symbol shows up, the circle does not snap to it. it goes up and left from where I wanted it to go. I can however, click on the circle after its made and grab the blue...

    Flat Patterns with configurations

I have to create drawings and dxf's for each configuration. 1" increments. I don't want flat patterns in the model. I want the flat pattern of the model on a SLDDRW. So I really have to go through all the configurations and create 'a new drawing' and close it? What I have been doing is, once...

    Flat Patterns with configurations

I am trying to find a fast way to create a flat pattern for prints when using a design table. I am having to open each configuration and choose 'make new drawing from part' place the flat pattern on the sheet and close it without saving. This is just to get the little plus box next to each...

    File reference problem

I am trying to open some drawings in SW 2010. The drawing views are coming up as dotted outlines. I changed the reference path to the correct folder. I put all assemblies and parts in the same folder with the drawings. When I right click on 'Drawing View 1' and click ' Open Assembly....' It...
