Thanks for the responses. I agree that multi-physics is necessary (it's more than just a CFD problem). I'm experienced with FEA so I'll be able to work through the technical aspects. I just know that this analysis is beyond the capability of the package that I have access to right now.

Does anyone have comparative data for corrosion resistance of 301 vs. 304 stainless steel? Our use is medical. Parts are exposed to steam sterilization at 132 C. The 304 we are using now is fine for this application but we need the strength we get with 301 1/2-hard.
