Yep, that would work. Thanks again for all the inputs.

Hmm, I see what you're saying. Sounds like work. Too bad I wouldn't be able to selectively section, like showing turbine blades within a cut housing. Thanks for the idea.

Hello, I've seen many parts in the past sectioned like the one uploaded, but I can't seem to get Section View to do that. When it takes out both planes I'm left with a quarter of the part, not 3/4 like I simulated. What am I not doing right? Thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to create a label that will wrap around a drafted plastic part, uploaded, and realized it's not just the perimeters of the ends and straight lines connecting them. Is there a way to obtain the flat pattern that would result from unfolding the outer faces? Thanks!

You've got a point there. I checked the tested drivers and they don't list any of the GeForce ones from NVIDIA. That would probably be the issue. Thanks for opening that up on your end. I will try the version of eDrawings I have at work which uses a different graphics card and see what...

They open up just fine in SW, no weird dims or text. And I just opened up one of my own that I had made a while back, see upload, and it gets messed up too. My concern is would others get the same when I send them an slddrw to open on their eDrawings viewer?? Thanks.
Mechanical Engineer...
No, just the ones I get from them. I can work around it, just annoying.

It was saved as an slddrw and I opened it up with eDrawings like usual.

Hello, I just finished installing SW2011 SP3 on my iMac at home and running it through Parallels 6 so I can work away from the office. I can't seem to get the Mighty Mouse to rotate parts or assemblies when I click and drag as I can on my Windows PC at work. The ball works great for zooming...
Hello, I received an eDrawing recently from a design house and when I opened it all the dimensions had this weird 'overline' on them, see uploaded tiff. Any idea what's causing that? I'm running 2011 SP4. Thanks!

Hello, I received the attached view from an outside source and can't figure out what they want with a P.F. counterbore. I know I'll kick myself when I get an answer. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!!

Wow, that's a new one on me. Can someone give me an example of a non-grounding mate? How is that different from a fully defined mate? I don't get it :(
