Hi Guys, [morning]
Thanks for all the info.

Hello,
I just got a question [sadeyes] from one of our managers concerning cadmium in plastic. What is it for? Is it in the colouring of the plastic or is it to make the plastic soft? Or something else? [hammer]
Best regards,

Hello again, [wavey2]
Yes, they use bad tooling to produce the grater. I've informed them that the best thing to do is produce a better tool.

Hello,
The area where the stainless steel is welded, is getting rusty after doing the dishwasher test... [cry][cry]
Why is this and can we avoid this?

Hi All,

Hello,
I work for a trading company and we are in the process of buying a kind of grater (like a cheese grater).
The problem is that the grater is very dull. We want it sharper, but the factory says this is not possible. I know this is not true, because I've seen plenty of graters which are...
Hello,
The company I work for sold a lot of outdoor lightchains to Europe for the Christmas season. We bought them in China and when we tested them they were fine. Now in Europe a lot of them flicker. They tell me it is because of the temperature.
In Southern China (+25 degrees Celsius) it is a...
Hi again,
Just checked the Cullom webpage, but from what I see it they only use plastics and I am looking for aluminum and other sheet metals. Am I wrong in my assumption?
Cheers,

Dear ccaserta,
I don't know if it is something, but if you give me some more details (on the process and/or company name), I might find out by myself.
Thanks for your input.
Cheers,
GM
Hi all,
I am looking for a way to make the small round ducts and also the round branch ducts quicker. Currently everything is done manually and I’d like to change that. Does anyone have any information on duct manufacturing processes (both automatic, semi-automatic and manual)?
I found some...
Hi all,
Has anyone heard or read anything about a project whereby rectangular ducts are made in a production process as follows. This is taken from a webpage I found:

Hi,
I am looking into the process of making sheet metal air ducts. Does anyone have experience and/or knowledge about a sheet metal duct production process or even something like an 'air duct maker'?
Also I am looking at plasma and laser cutters (for the sheet metal), but I worry that the heat...
Hi Ruma,
I tried several times (last week and today again), but when I fill out the registration form, all I get is an error message. I don't know why, but I do know that my country is not on the list (Hong Kong). I will try to contact Lindab directly to see whether there is something wrong on...
