Is the transformer a new one or an old one, has the transformer been shifetd from some location to this location and how do the results compare with the factory tests results. What all tests have been conducted on this transformer and what is the sequence of the tests carried out.
The...
you may not br sble to run for such a long length in a trefoil condition as suggested by RajT. It is not suitable to run single core cables in metallic ducts and specifically if you cannot maintain the trefoil condition.
hope this helps
Wowski,
Its a standard practice to ship tarnsformers and reactors in dry condition. The reactor oil is best drained under the pressure on Nitrogen gas and that minimises the exposure of the insulation paper to the atmospheric conditions. The trnasformer is to be held under slight pressure to...
Distribution Transformer: Conventional Distribution Transformer (500kVA - 2000kVA)
Product Specification Table For Distribution Transformer
Enquiry Form Type Copper wound distribution transformers are manufactured in accordance with IS 2026-1977, 3 phase, 50Hz. Oil Natural Air(ONAN)...
it seems that i will have to contradict you all in the above mentioned posts. The sheet winding is known to be more solid in formation and as the fault current gets distributed over the sheet per unit force is lower compared to the stranded conductor winding construction. Generally the failures...
single test results increase is many a times misleading and as suggested by other members trending and comparision of the ratios is the correct analysis methods. recently about an year back the ratios have been modified by the CIGRE group 15 and the new ratios are more accurate in their...
i think what you are talking about is also referred to as the Al foil transformers. These transformers are known to have high fault withstand capacity and are good performers.
you have provided lot of details in the thread and the replies and i need to know more details.
the high voltage...
Dear Stevenal,
you have not given two data, the voltage class of the bushing and the transformer has a conservator or not.
As far as i am aware it is not necessary to purge from the bushings if the tank has a n2 based oil preservation system as the N2 is over the oil, but there are instances...
Dear soorya,
one of the other eqiuipment manufacturers is enervac and you can find some details at www.enervac.com and not enercon as mentioned by me earlier.
if possible send me the oil test reports ans i can be of help. my email id is gmazumder@yahoo.com
regards
dear soorya,
i think now the technology of online filtration is quiet well established and the activity can be undertaken. the inlet to the filter machine is taken from the bottom of the transformer and the recycled oil is fed to the top of the transformer or to the conservator.
sludges do...
i think you are talking about bushings interfacing SF6 switcggera to the transformer, the bushing is most probably oil to sf6 type or is it of some other type. for oil to air type the online oil filtration system can also be used, as it only keeps the oil in good condition and minimises oil...
i am talking of distribution transformers up to 3-4 MVA range, for 10 MVA range the size and design complexity may increase and the cooling will also have to be carefully looked into.
rectangular coil transformers have been in use for quiet some time. the rectangular coil is actually the Lv winding and the same is made out of foils either copper or aluninium.
generally the HV will be conducter type and the core is rectangular in nature. the core is held in position by s frame...
