    I thought the typical is about 40', i'm in southern california, and i have a 38'-6" beam, so I should be OK to spec it that length without splicing... Thank you..

    Concrete Anchors that do not require special inspection..

    I have been specifying Hilti KB-TZ or HIT HY150 anchors, but all require special inspection...Are there any anchors that do not require special inspection per CBC 07? (preferrably with an ICC or ESR report) even if the values are smaller... (UBC allows no spcial inspection on some anchors)...

    how to calculate compression spring constant for modeling

    ok the soils report indicates allowable soils bearing to be 2500 psf and recommended settlement to be 1 inch... i'm trying to model a mat footing and using spring constants (k/in)...how do i go ahead and calculate it? Thanks
