By the way, it is a bit of jolt to go from a modern well built API enabled system like SW to something like UG. It's just so nice to be able to "talk" to your data programmatically with such ease! I miss it already and I have hardly scratched the surface.

I assume then the argument is plain vs. graduated. I have done this and it had no effect on UG. The file I edited is in the UG directory. Do I need to copy it elsewhere to get NX "see" it. Will this alone make the background white?

I found the Edit Arrangement function but I cannot get it to show a component in two different locations. Will it work with components that are not mated/constrained?
