A few things to look for:
1. Does the item (file) have a release status?
2. Does the user have write access?
3. Is the item used in an assembly or draft?
Only the owning user or a dba can delete items (files) from Tcx. The owning user must have write access to the item. IF you are trying to...
I'm not moving the Ribbon Bar with all the tabs, which is what you might be referring to as menus. But you can minimize it so only the tab names show, not all the icons. If you need to look in the tab, you just select it and it pops open. Unfortunely I haven't found a way to move it, just the...
@karmoh -
In-place edit, from what I understand by talking to Gtac years ago, escape is the wrong method for leaving in-place edit and can corrupt files. I then asked why it was even an option, of course no response. Looks like the have it "fixed".
We have called in the moving menus to Gtac...
We are on ST2 and have noticed that if you in-place edit within the assembly, it throws the menus around. After that happens, they will no longer go back to where you docked them and you have to manually fix them AGAIN! My users are frustrated with it too.

Most of the people I work with run the Quadro FX 4600/4800.
We started on Quadro FX1700 and switched to FX4600. We do use large assemblies (5000-40,000 parts easy) and the FX1700 wasn't working for us at all.
We started to get some issues with the graphics being choppy. Weird issues with SE. I...
@Raaden- ST2 is 64 bit, but if you are using Embedded Client (SEEC), it is only 64 bit for XP & Vista. They are not supporting Win 7 yet. And you can't use 32 bit on Win 7 either, that doesn't work, I've tried it. They said ST3! And that isn't coming out until Oct or later. They seriously...
I have it on Win7 64bit, installed as 64bit, MP2. I am also using Tcx, and the SEEC is giving me problems now. MP1 it worked fine. I can save files fine, but can't open them on a 32bit machine and vice versa. What problems are you having with part copy?
I had this same problem with SE20SP8. I tried converting a 30 Mb draft to dwg. It wouldn't open either. No luck here. We gave up and sent it in to Gtac. Had problems with smaller drafts, the blocks weren't converting to the dwg in SP8.
If you have custom toolbars, you can keep those also. I learned this from a guru in Teamcenter from Siemens. I was tired of loosing them!
Go to "Start > Run" type in "regedit".
Then go to the "??_CURRENT_USER" & expand, then go to "Software" & expand, "Unigraphic Solutions" & expand, "Solid...
This has also happened to me. You have to shut down SE. Then you have to clear the registry for SE. You will have to go to start>run> type in "regedit" and under software, find Unigraphic Solutions, Solid Edge. GTAC suggested I copy this before deleting it. Unfortunately, doing this clears any...
