ApC2Kp,
You are right, we are supplying for Europe; Sweden actually. We are already well into meeting the PED requirements - it is, how shall I say it ... fun. On top of that the end user is nuclear, so the papertrail is rather extensive. Thanks again.
Thanks so much, I haven't got through everything yet, but it is much better than where I started ... so many sites to visit, so little time :-)

Thanks for your reply. But I must correct you - we manufacture packaged piping systems. You may have been looking at our other divisions webpage. I agree that it is possible to build a DIN piping system; that is why I need to find out where I can get DIN standards (accurate and concise). I...
Thanks, but I require fitting and flange info as well. ASME B36.10M covers the basics about ASME pipe and it's soft conversion to metric. My dilemma is with the DIN wall thicknesses for fittings and flanges as they apply to the pipe. The ASME standard offers a very limited range of wall...
Thanks for your link, but it looks to be only for ANSI standards and their associated dimensions. I require info regarding DIN standards and how to specify for purchasing.

Does anyone know where to get information regarding metric pipe, flanges and fittings meeting DIN standards? In particular I require information on the correct call-outs for the pipe, flanges and fittings (including material designations). I have gathered info from Sandvik, but the call-out...

Have you had any experience with detailing non-piping in QP-3D. I need to detail piping and structural and equipment simultaneously during the design stage.

Tony,
Sorry I couldn't reply sooner. Thanks for the info on PD-3D and on CADWorx. I will try to review CADWorx.
My biggest challenge at this time is trying to get a cad package that does both "piping" and "structural" in one unit. We (HMCL, my employer) design packaged piping...
We have received a demo copy of this but have not made a decision on purchase. The software looks good but we are unsure of how large the file sizes will be. As well, we need to do structural detailing at the same time as the piping, since we build packaged piping systems. If you have found out...
